About Activity Log

 

The Activity Log provides a way for management to view what changes have been made by users to records within a database file in ManageMore.  Specific information about what changes to place and what record was affected is recorded, as well as additional reference information which can be used to find a record should key information be changed.

Buttons

 

Purge Activity Log

Click this button to delete records from the activity log based upon IntelliQuery selection or by date range.

 

Fields

 

Date

Displays the date the record change took place.

 

Time

Displays the time at which the record change took place.

 

Employee

Displays the ID of the employee that made the record change.

 

Loc

Displays the location that the employee was logged into when the record change took place.

 

Field Name

Displays the name of the field in which the change took place.

 

infoIf multiple changes too place on one record, then each change will create one record in the activity log.

 

Old Value

Displays the former value of the field mentioned.

 

New Value

Displays the new value of the field mentioned.

 

Reference

Displays data found in another field of the same record.  This value can be used to search against in order to find the record again, should primary information be changed.

 

Computer Name

Displays the name of the computer on your network where the change was made.  The computer name can be found by right-clicking on the My Computer icon on your desktop and then clicking on the Computer Name tab.

 

Alternate Reference

Displays data found in another field of the same record that is unlikely or unable to change.  This value can be used to search against in order to find the record again, should primary information be changed.

 

exclaimIf a record in the activity log is highlighted in red, that indicates the associated record was deleted.
