can i run managemore on 2008 server?

We have not tested the software on Windows 2008 Server as of yet. We usually advised customers to wait until the first service pack of a new operating system has been released before upgrading.

After some testing with some of our clients, it is possible to get MM to run under Windows 2008 server. It will require turning off DEP (Data Execution Protection) on our application only.

So, far our tests of MM running under Win 2008 have shown no ill effect.
We still suggest customers to consider holding out on the switch until at least the end of the 1st Qtr 2010. This will give us enough time to identify any long term effects (if any) of MM under this cutting edge Server OS.
